Thinking about joining Glovo? You probably have a few questions — and that's completely fair. Here's everything you need to know, straight and simple.
Growth
Glovo connects your restaurant with customers who want to order food for delivery. When you join as a partner, your restaurant gets a listing on the Glovo app — visible to customers in your area who are searching for food.
You manage your own menu, set your own prices, and decide your own opening hours. Glovo handles the logistics of getting the order from your kitchen to the customer’s door.
In practical terms, Glovo brings you orders you would not otherwise get — from customers who are browsing the app, not walking past your door.
Glovo offers four different delivery models, so you can choose the one that fits how your restaurant operates:
👉 Delivery with Glovo. Glovo provides the couriers. You cook the order, a Glovo courier picks it up from your kitchen, and delivers it to the customer. You do not need your own delivery fleet.
👉 Self-delivery. You use your own delivery staff to fulfil orders that come through the Glovo app. This model works well for restaurants that already have couriers and want more order volume without giving up control of the delivery experience.
👉 In-store pick-up. Customers order through the app and collect from your location. No delivery involved. Good for restaurants in busy areas where customers prefer to grab and go.
👉 On-demand logistics. Glovo’s logistics network handles delivery for your own orders — for example, orders you receive through your own website or phone. You use Glovo as a logistics partner without necessarily being listed on the customer app.
Most restaurant partners start with the standard delivery model and add other options as their operation grows.
Orders arrive through the Glovo Orders App — the dashboard you use to manage your restaurant’s presence on the platform. You can access it on a tablet, phone, or computer.
When a customer places an order, you receive a notification. You confirm it, prepare the food, and mark it as ready. If you are using Glovo’s couriers, a courier nearby will pick it up and deliver it. The whole process is visible in real time on your dashboard.
You can set your own preparation time estimates so that couriers arrive when the food is actually ready — not before, not long after.
Beyond the orders themselves, the Glovo partner programme gives you access to tools and data that most small restaurants would not otherwise have:
The data is particularly useful for restaurants that want to make evidence-based decisions about their menu and pricing rather than guessing.
The first few weeks as a Glovo partner are an adjustment period. Here is what most new partners experience:
Glovo works well for most types of food businesses — from small local restaurants to larger operations with multiple locations. The model is particularly well suited to restaurants that:
✅ Want to grow their customer base beyond walk-in traffic.
✅ Have capacity in the kitchen during off-peak hours that they want to fill with delivery orders.
✅ Are in an urban area where delivery app usage is high.
✅ Want access to data and tools to understand and grow their business.
It is less suited to restaurants where the dining experience itself is central to the product — very high-end tasting-menu restaurants, for example, where the food cannot travel well. But for the vast majority of food businesses, the delivery channel represents real incremental revenue.

How do I join Glovo as a restaurant partner?
You register through the Glovo partner portal on sell.glovoapp.com. The process involves submitting your restaurant’s details, agreeing to the partner terms, and setting up your menu and profile. The Glovo team reviews your application and confirms once you are live.
Does Glovo provide the delivery couriers?
Yes, in the standard delivery model. Glovo has a network of independent couriers who pick up orders from your kitchen and deliver them to customers. If you prefer to use your own delivery staff, the self-delivery model is also available.
Can I control my own menu and prices on Glovo?
Yes. You manage your own menu, pricing, and opening hours through the Glovo Orders App. Glovo does not set your prices.
How long does it take to start getting orders after joining Glovo?
Most restaurants receive their first orders within a few days of going live. Building consistent order volume takes longer — typically a few weeks to a month as you accumulate reviews and ratings. The quality of your photos and menu presentation has a significant impact on how quickly you attract customers.
What support does Glovo offer to restaurant partners?
Glovo provides a dedicated partner support team for operational questions and technical issues. You also have access to a performance dashboard with weekly data on your sales, customer ratings, and menu performance.
